The best grass company to buy grass the grass always fresh they carry all types of grass. Grass i couldn't find nowhere else they was able to get for me. I recommend this grass company if you looking for nice grass at a reasonable price and gave me good tips on how to treat my grass they very knowledgeable in landscaping i was given good tips on how to treat and maintain my yard thank you J&L the best....

This is one of the shadiest businesses I have ever encountered. I went to J&L Grass Co. With my girlfriend, who was doing business with the company. My girlfriend had received a bad customer experience with them. When she went there 3 times & during that time she was accused of passing a fake $20 by employee J.J., he then to proceed to give her extremely slow service that made her late to pickup her son from school & he was angered that she tracked the office floor on a rainy day. When she came back to find out about a proposed settlement offer from Crystal, the manager, all that she do was to say that she was sorry. My girlfriend bought grass on 2 previous trips. Crystal disclosed for about $35 more she could bought a pallet, nearly double the grass. When My girlfriend proposed to Crystal a resolution of allowing her to charge her for a pallet & give her the additional 90 pieces of grass. Crystal said she that she would have to get with her boss. After waiting for almost two weeks, I accompanied my girlfriend to talk to Crystal. She acted like she was surprised that her boss, her father, Everett Jones, had not called her back. When they say they’ll have grass ready for you - they mean it. I called on a Thursday afternoon and he got 2 pallets of special order pallets added to his load for Friday morning. I came Friday morning and it was sitting there waiting on me. Nice thick cut, super fresh sod. Even the top layer of the pallet was nice and fresh and not dried out. Will definitely be going back next time I need sod.

Great quality product prices are fair. The main benefit is the freshness of the grass compared to the box stores who let it set for days or weeks. This place gets the grass fresh each morning. Show up early as they often sell out by noon. 👍

Service was great, grass was not. I ordered Zeon Zoysia, which is supposed to have a max cutting height of 2". The sod came 5-6", which means I had to scalp the sod on the first cut, leaving it brown and thin. Additionally, the grass came with weeds growing in it; looks like nut sedge. 10 or so pieces were dead, so I had to replace them with sod from another supplier a week after install. Disappointing to spend money and effort, to end up with a low quality product. I think they really need to change where they buy their grass. Cost seemed to be inline with other places I checked.
